In 2017, MTA Solutions implemented Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as an ERP Financial platform and initiated a program to move JD Edwards hosting to Amazon Web Services. MTA Solutions designated Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne to support its finance and accounting business functions across the organization, with the PMO Manager Diana Escobar serving as the primary liaison between business and IT.
After seven years of hosting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne on premise, including an upgrade to JDE 9.1, MTA engaged the Syntax JDE Managed Services team to investigate cloud options, design a migration path to the JDE 9.2 Applications Release, and provision Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne on AWS. Syntax had been supporting MTA s JDE environment since 2016, and the engagement emphasized a managed services relationship for both the lift and ongoing operations.
The implementation concentrated on core ERP Financial capabilities consistent with enterprise financial systems, including general ledger processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and period close workflows. Configuration and release management work targeted compliance with the JDE 9.2 Applications Release and sustained transaction continuity during the transition to cloud hosting.
Project governance was centered on the PMO office, with Diana Escobar overseeing vendor coordination, change control, and operational readiness across finance and related business functions. The delivery model combined Syntax managed services with PMO owned governance to operationalize Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne on AWS and to manage future upgrades and application support.
