In 2011 Mcbride implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to support ERP Financial operations, deploying two SAP ECC instances to separate landscapes and operational responsibilities. The rollout included provisioning a new Company in the United Kingdom as a core part of the implementation.
Configuration and support focused on SAP SD, LE and EDI modules within SAP ERP ECC 6.0, with explicit integration into adjacent modules to realize order to cash and logistics execution workflows. Tax and VAT number determination logic was implemented across Europe and for exports to third countries including inter company scenarios to support compliance for goods and services. Advanced Planning and Optimization capabilities were configured and enhanced, including group seasonality in forecasting, ABC_XYZ optimization, CIF interfaces and Demand Planning DP. Operational inventory models were extended to include SAP third party vendor and OTC customer consignment stock processes, and a billing consolidation process was developed to aggregate invoicing across different plants.
Integrations emphasized EDI and cross module interfacing to align sales distribution, logistics and finance processes across multiple plants and countries. The implementation impacted finance, sales, supply chain and tax compliance functions, with the billing and VAT determination processes touching inter company flows and export controls. Two ECC instances provided a separation of duties and allowed parallel support and testing streams during upgrades and enhancements.
Program governance centered on assimilating business requirements, designing agreed solutions and specifying detailed configuration changes while managing small and medium sized projects within the development area. The team supported testing cycles, SAP note implementations, system upgrades and enhancements to maintain stability of the SAP ERP ECC 6.0 landscape. Key achievements included serving as a core team member for the new UK Company implementation, delivering the SAP Tax and VAT number determination process across Europe and exports, configuring APO optimizations, and implementing third party and consignment stock processes together with billing consolidation across plants.

| Workday | Legacy | Workday Compensation | Compensation Management | HCM | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017 Mcbride implemented Workday Compensation as part of a company wide Workday HCM rollout across its European estate. The rollout followed an adopt model, deploying a core best practice configuration simultaneously across all European sites in two big bang waves. Mcbride had previously operated 26 different HR systems which prevented accurate real time data, driving the consolidation effort.
The implementation sequence delivered core HCM modules first, including onboarding and recruitment, followed six months later by talent, learning, performance and advanced compensation capabilities, with Workday Compensation providing the Compensation Management functionality. The compensation implementation used the platform's standard compensation planning and pay review workflows aligned to Compensation Management practices and was configured as part of the second wave alongside talent and performance modules.
Post go live the program extended to modernising time systems and outsourcing payroll to a third party, integrating that provider with Workday HCM. The supplier initially chosen on recommendation was unable to capture country specific legal and sector nuances for time and payroll, for example differing parental pay rules, overtime and holiday treatment and collective agreement codes across jurisdictions, which led to aborting the time and attendance rollout after integration in one country. Mcbride is finalising a tender to adopt a country model, partnering with providers that can support local payroll and time rules to ensure compliance.
Governance and change practices were adapted to reduce project fatigue and improve adoption, moving to a collaborative country level selection process where HR managers and plant managers create shortlists, run demos and vote on preferred solutions. The program governance preserved a centralized Workday Compensation configuration for core rewards workflows while decentralizing country specific time and payroll ownership, enabling local accountability for compliance and operations.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP BW (Business Warehouse) | Data Warehouse | Analytics and BI | n/a | 2012 | 2012 |
In 2012, Mcbride implemented SAP BW (Business Warehouse) as a Data Warehouse to centralize reporting and analytics across its SAP landscape. The SAP BW (Business Warehouse) implementation emphasized BI/BW development and data modeling to provide consolidated financial and operational reporting.
The implementation covered design and configuration of core BW capabilities including data extraction and transformation, InfoProvider modeling, and query/report development delivered with SAP Business Explorer. Internal ABAP development supported custom data flows and transformation logic, with technical standards and configuration documentation produced by the BI team.
Integrations focused on SAP Finance and Controlling data, with the BW layer structured to receive transactional and master data feeds from finance modules and to work collaboratively with other SAP module teams. The deployment supported designated Mcbride sites and manufacturing facility rollouts by feeding finance and controlling analytics into site-level and group reporting workflows.
Operational governance included ongoing SAP Development and Basis planning, second line support for end users, creation of training materials, and maintenance of concise configuration and internal customer documentation. The BI team maintained alignment of the SAP BW roadmap to business needs, providing post implementation support, functional and integrated testing, and advisory guidance on BW best practices.
