In 2016, Madhyamam Broadcasting deployed Keka Core HR, a cloud-based Core HR application, to centralize employee master data and core human resources workflows for its 200 employee media operation. The implementation was positioned to support Human Resources functions including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, statutory compliance tracking, and HR data analysis and reporting. Madhyamam Broadcasting implemented Keka Core HR to serve Core HR needs for its Human Resources organization.
Keka Core HR was configured to manage employee records, applicant tracking and recruitment workflows, structured performance appraisal cycles, compensation administration, and statutory compliance workflows. The deployment included automation of approval workflows and role based access controls to support manager reviews and HR approvals, and leveraged the platform's HRIS reporting capabilities to produce HR data analysis and internal presentations cited by HR staff. Configuration emphasized standard Core HR functional modules and workflow orchestration consistent with typical cloud HR systems.
Operational coverage included the HR team and line managers across the company, with governance driven by HR owned policy development and process ownership to align recruitment, performance and compensation processes. HRIS administration relied on Keka Core HR for system of record duties while ad hoc exports and analysis continued to use Microsoft Excel as noted by internal HR practitioners. Cross functional collaboration and communication were emphasized to embed the system into ongoing HR operations.
