In 2017, Meskwaki Nation implemented Microix Timesheet, deploying Time and Attendance functionality to bring field and hourly staff onto an electronic timekeeping system. The implementation was scoped to tribal HR and payroll functions to centralize time collection and improve accuracy for tribal payroll.
Configuration used the Microix Timesheet timesheet module with biometric timeclock support to capture clock-in and clock-out events and to aggregate electronic timesheets. Functional workflows included biometric authentication at point of punch, timesheet approval and reconciliation mechanisms, and integration points to tribal payroll and HR processes for payroll preparation.
Operational scope covered field and hourly staff across Meskwaki Nation payroll operations, with rollout and onboarding supported by Microix support as noted in the Meskwaki testimonial. Governance centralized time and attendance records within HR to standardize payroll inputs and reduce manual corrections during payroll processing.
