InTime Solutions Legacy InTime Time and Attendance Time and Attendance HCM n/a 2016 2016
In 2016, Metro Vancouver Transit Police implemented InTime Time and Attendance. The InTime Time and Attendance application, categorized as Time and Attendance, was deployed to centralize scheduling, electronic subpoena handling and overtime management for the transit police organization. The deployment emphasized functional modules for centralized scheduling, electronic subpoena handling, overtime controls, automated time capture and reporting. Configuration focused on schedule driven automated timesheets that translated rostered shifts into timekeeping records, and on operational scheduling logic to manage shift coverage across transit policing duties. Integrations were scoped to support HR and payroll ingestion and to feed operational staffing processes within the transit jurisdiction, enabling schedules to drive time and attendance records and court notification workflows. Electronic subpoena handling reduced missed court notifications by creating a systematic notification and tracking capability tied to officer schedules. Rollout activity supported both HR payroll processes and operational staffing teams, with governance centered on schedule ownership, overtime approval workflows and reporting for command staff. The case study reports a 97% reduction in daily scheduling time and large reductions in missed court notifications following the InTime Time and Attendance deployment.
