In 2014, Miami University implemented ImageTrend Hiretouch ATS as its Applicant Tracking System to serve as the central online position management and applicant tracking platform. The deployment replaced PeopleAdmin and proceeded to go live for staff in February and broadly across the university in March 2015, supporting HR and position management processes in the U.S. higher education context.
ImageTrend Hiretouch ATS was configured to manage position control and requisition workflows, candidate intake and applicant tracking, and online job posting and application routing, using configurable job templates and role based access to align with university hiring governance. Automation of applicant status transitions and reporting workflows was implemented to streamline hiring workflows and to support cross functional collaboration between HR, hiring managers, and academic units.
Rollout followed a phased approach with staff access in February and broader access in March 2015, accompanied by governance changes to online hiring approvals and position management workflows to accommodate university procedures. The implementation was recognized internally for improving online hiring workflows and cross functional collaboration.
