Musoni Legacy Musoni Core Banking Core Banking ERP Services and Operations n/a 2015 2015
In 2015, MicroLoan Foundation United Kingdom implemented Musoni Core Banking to digitalise finance and client management across its country programmes. The organization deployed Musoni Core Banking as its Core Banking platform to centralize loan and savings administration and to coordinate field operations across Southern Africa. Deployment covered country programmes in Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe, where the implementation combined core ledger and client record capabilities with Musoni’s digital field tools for field data capture and client onboarding. Functional capabilities implemented included loans processing, savings account management, client lifecycle records and digital field operations instrumentation. The architecture focused on a unified operational ledger and field data capture workflows to support dispersed rural teams. Operational scope included finance, client management and front line field operations, aligning transactional processing with centralized reporting and client data capture. Governance adjustments and process standardization accompanied the rollout to ensure consistent data entry and loan lifecycle handling across sites. The Musoni Core Banking deployment enabled a rapid scale up to approximately 90,000 clients and improved data capture and operational efficiency across the Southern Africa programmes.
