| SAP | Legacy | SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, Milliken implemented SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central for Core HR across a global footprint covering 50 countries. The program was scoped as a core hybrid implementation, positioning Employee Central as the enterprise HR master data platform while interfacing with SAP HCM payroll and SAP S4 HANA for payroll and downstream financial processes.
Milliken established global templating for SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central design, configuring the core HR data model, business rules, and security role constructs aligned to the Core HR category. The implementation team led Employee Central and Data Replication activities, and executed data migration and mapping using SAP infoporter to standardize employee records, organizational assignments, position structures, and related HR objects.
Data replication architecture used SAP Business Integration Builder to replicate employee and organizational data to support SAP HCM payroll and S4 HANA, implementing scheduled replication and mapping artifacts to preserve payroll-relevant attributes. Integrations were explicitly focused on HR master data flows between SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and on-premise SAP HCM payroll and SAP S4 HANA systems, maintaining alignment of organizational hierarchies and payroll interfaces.
Governance was organized around global templates, centralized data mapping standards, and coordinated cutover sequencing to manage the multi-country rollout. Operational ownership emphasized template-driven configuration, repeatable data migration patterns using SAP infoporter, and a defined replication governance layer to control master data propagation across the hybrid SAP landscape.

| ECi Software Solutions | Legacy | ECI Deacom ERP | Manufacturing ERP | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2016 | 2017 |
In 2016, Milliken implemented ECI Deacom ERP as its Manufacturing ERP to consolidate production and materials workflows across its manufacturing business functions. The deployment targeted manufacturing operations within Milliken business units including specialty chemical, floor covering, and performance materials, and positioned ECI Deacom ERP as the system of record for shop floor transactions.
Configuration emphasized core Manufacturing ERP capabilities including inventory management, bill of materials and routing, production scheduling, shop floor control, quality management, lot and batch traceability, purchasing, sales order processing, and costing. Operational procedures reflected the mixed automated and manual nature of Milliken production, requiring Process Operators to issue materials and complete orders in Deacom and to record process critical data timely and accurately as part of standard operating procedures.
The implementation covered Milliken manufacturing sites aligned with its global footprint of more than 35 facilities in the United States, U.K., Belgium, France, China, India, Mexico, and Australia, and integrated shop floor activities with inventory and order records within ECI Deacom ERP to preserve traceability and materials control across production lines. ECI Deacom ERP served as the repository for material issuance, production order completion, and documented quality checkpoints used by operators and supervisors.
Governance and rollout focused on embedding system usage into existing SOPs, operator training on Deacom entry requirements, cross training to support business continuity, and tying process documentation to 5S and continuous improvement practices. Operational change concentrated on shifting manual documentation and material issuance tasks into ECI Deacom ERP workflows so that shop floor accountability and process data capture were consistent with Milliken production controls.
