IFS Legacy IFS Reporting (formerly P2 Reporting) Analytics and BI Analytics and BI n/a 2017 2017
In 2017, Mitutoyo America Corporation implemented IFS Reporting (formerly P2 Reporting) as its Analytics and BI solution to support operational reporting for customer order processing and field service workflows. The implementation is tied to the Aurora, IL operational footprint where a Product Administrator employed since February 2017 uses IFS Reporting to manage data, run reports, and support scheduling of field service technician appointments and service requests. IFS Reporting (formerly P2 Reporting) was configured to deliver operational reporting, scheduled report distribution, and ad hoc query capability for day to day order processing and service management, with the Product Administrator handling report creation and data management tasks. The deployment emphasized role based access and report-based visibility for cross functional teams, enabling prioritized handling of orders and service calls by urgency and supporting file management of electronic and paper records through report outputs. Operational governance centers on the Product Administrator role, which coordinates with customer service, field service, and order processing teams to ensure reports and data support appointment scheduling and service request prioritization. Workflows were adjusted to use IFS Reporting outputs for operational decision making and cross functional prioritization, aligning Analytics and BI outputs with business functions in customer service and field operations.
