Epicor Legacy Epicor Vision Distribution ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2016 2016
In 2016, Monaco Group Automotive implemented Epicor Vision as its Distribution ERP. The deployment focused on the companys automotive parts distribution and service operations at its Montreal site, addressing inventory control, order-to-cash flows, purchasing and financial accounting for a 70 person organization. The implementation configured core Distribution ERP modules including inventory management, order management, purchasing, warehouse control, parts catalog management and general ledger functionality, with workflow configuration for parts pricing, sales order processing and serialized part tracking. Epicor Vision was provisioned to enforce role based access and to align warehouse, sales and accounting processes through standardized transaction flows and operational controls. Technical architecture was delivered on-premises using virtualized infrastructure, with Epicor Vision instances running on VMware hosted Windows Server environments that were managed alongside Exchange and Active Directory. Integration points and operational responsibilities included centralized authentication via Active Directory, server maintenance, backup operations and routine application administration handled by internal IT staff. Governance and rollout were led by internal IT and operational teams, using phased cutovers across distribution, parts and accounting groups, and relying on Active Directory account provisioning and server side backup policies to control access and protect transactional data. Day to day operational support and application lifecycle activities were performed by the in-house IT technician role, which combined network management, application support and backup and recovery maintenance.
