In 2023, Montis implemented ISAH Finance as its ERP Financial application. Montis is a Dutch furniture manufacturer based in Dongen that originally selected Isah in 2018 and completed an initial Isah implementation in 2019 in collaboration with Datamex, and the 2023 work centers on consolidating finance capabilities within the ISAH Finance module. The ISAH Finance deployment focused on standardizing finance and cross-departmental processes, reducing custom extensions and moving functionality into the product standard. Configuration work emphasized core finance workflows such as invoicing, reminders and post-calculation, and the project team deliberately phased out bespoke customizations over time to align Montis with Isah upgrade cycles. ISAH Finance is serving the ERP Financial needs of the finance organization while supporting adjacent purchasing and order processing activities. Integrations and operational coverage were pragmatic and tightly scoped, explicitly replacing an external reminders tool by implementing reminders inside ISAH Finance. The implementation retained a strong test environment discipline, with key users and trained staff exercising scenarios prior to production cuts, and ongoing interaction with Isah Product Support for new functionality. Operational ownership spans finance, purchasing and IT, with process owners recreating and validating process inputs and outputs to ensure cross-departmental continuity. Governance and change practices were driven by an internal Isah Guru, Edwin Goossens, who served as project leader and process owner during the initial rollout and continues to steward standardization. Montis instituted structured user training, basic courses for all users and role-focused training for key users in purchasing and post-calculation, while encouraging hands-on testing in the sandbox. As a result of these choices, Montis explicitly positioned ISAH Finance to be more future proof and easier to maintain in line with Isah updates.
