OpenText Vendor Invoice Management was configured to deliver core AP Automation capabilities including invoice capture and OCR-based data extraction, automated validation and matching workflows, exception routing and approval orchestration, and electronic archival with audit trail support. Configuration work emphasized vendor reference validation, invoice coding rules and approval sequencing consistent with retail accounts payable practices.
The technical architecture centered on a centralized processing layer and repository to harmonize invoice processing across multiple sites and corporate finance functions. The project scope covered the full applications services lifecycle from implementation to rollout and transition to support, reflecting the IT organization’s responsibility for companywide application delivery.

Operational ownership rested with corporate HR, while store HR personnel interfaced with the system for time capture, leave requests, and workforce data maintenance. Role-based access controls and payroll configuration were implemented to align with Malaysia statutory payroll rules and local payroll workflows.
Governance focused on consolidating employee records into a single HR system of record and standardizing HR workflows, with HR staff trained on Boss Solution tools. The deployment was managed through the group IT organization under the Head of Ecommerce and IT General Manager, who oversaw the full applications services lifecycle including implementation, rollout and transition to support.
NCR Voyix Retail was configured to support core POS capabilities including transaction processing, price and promotion management, tender and payment workflows, inventory visibility at store level, and end of day reconciliation. The implementation leveraged standard Point Of Sale functional modules to enable consistent checkout processes and centralized merchandising controls.
Integrations were executed as part of the program to connect NCR Voyix Retail with enterprise systems, including store networking to head office, inventory and replenishment feeds, payment processing interfaces, and customer engagement channels including e commerce and loyalty platforms. Integration workstreams were coordinated within the IT division as part of broader application lifecycle activities and vendor management responsibilities.
Governance for the NCR Voyix Retail rollout followed the companys established project management model, with project leadership from the IT General Manager, staged pilots and phased store rollouts, and formal transition into support. Implementation governance also tied into Mydins strategic planning and KPI efforts, using cross divisional planning workshops to align operational metrics and post rollout monitoring frameworks.
