In 2019 National Cheng Kung University implemented Elsevier LMS to advance Learning and Development goals focused on interdisciplinary collaboration, increased research visibility and a more energetic research environment. The Elsevier LMS deployment was executed alongside Elsevier Pure, SciVal and Scopus and included customized consulting to align analytics and assessment workflows with university objectives.
The combined implementation delivered functional capabilities for research output quantification, faculty potential assessment and multi institution project management via Pure, SciVal and Scopus, while Elsevier LMS centralized training administration, researcher development content and participation tracking. National Cheng Kung University Elsevier LMS Learning and Development supported research assessment and researcher development functions across the institution.
Operational coverage targeted research offices, faculty affairs and project management units across NCKU, integrating research analytics into faculty recruitment and grant preparation workflows. The deployment linked researcher profiles and institutional reporting processes to the Elsevier suite to improve visibility and coordination of multi site collaborations.
Governance was established around research evaluation workflows and visibility reporting, with consulting input used to configure assessment criteria and reporting templates.
