In 2019, NET4GAS implemented Unicorn Lancelot ETRM as the comprehensive IT system for business management of the Czech gas transmission system. Unicorn Lancelot ETRM, classified as ETRM, was chosen following a competitive tender won by Unicorn Systems to support commercial and operational control across NET4GAS infrastructure.
The implementation configured core ETRM capabilities typical for transmission operators, including trade capture and position management, physical nominations and scheduling, capacity management and commodity risk monitoring. Configuration emphasized asset and pipeline operational management modules to reflect NET4GAS operations over more than 3,800 kilometers of pipelines and to support meter point and nomination workflows consistent with ETRM functional requirements.
Rollout centralized business management for commercial, operations and network planning teams across the Czech Republic, with governance updates to standardize nomination approvals, scheduling handoffs and operational reporting. Unicorn Lancelot ETRM was configured as a central repository for scheduling and commercial positions, with role based access and process orchestration aligned to reconcile trading activities with transmission operational processes.
