Operational coverage focused on finance and procurement business functions, with testing cycles and cut-over activities orchestrated to minimize disruption across sites. Governance and program management were led through an executive steering committee structure, with responsibilities that included negotiating implementation and support contracts with executive sponsorship and legal involvement, managing scope changes, arranging hundreds of project meetings, reporting status to executives, coordinating user acceptance testing and signing off on all phases of work. The implementation narrative records that the project completed in late September 2014 on time and on budget, and that a sustained support and planning role continued post cut-over to stabilize operations and plan ongoing enhancements.
