In 2022, New india Assurance Trinidad & Tobago implemented Damco InsureEdge, deploying an Insurance ERP provided by Damco Solutions to support core insurance operations. The rollout targeted the insurer's Trinidad and Tobago operations and was executed by a cross-functional delivery team of more than 15 software developers, testers, business analysts and designers led by a Damco Solutions Technical Lead based in Faridabad, Haryana.
Damco InsureEdge was configured to deliver standard Insurance ERP capabilities, including policy administration, claims processing, billing and underwriting workflow support, with implementation work that emphasized modular configuration and automated job orchestration. The application stack used ASP.NET Core, MVC and Web API alongside Web Forms and C# for the presentation and service layers, with MS SQL for persistence and Entity Framework, Dapper and LINQ for data access patterns.
The technical implementation included active data migration from the insurers old system into Damco InsureEdge, production server DB and web provisioning, and CI/CD pipeline construction using Jenkins. Integration architecture centered on the Web API layer and scheduled background processing via Windows Task Scheduler, while automated and unit test coverage used xUnit and functional test suites managed in JIRA.
Project governance followed agile practices with formal user story management, resource allocation, code reviews and staged quality gates for unit, user acceptance, regression and integration testing.
