Operational coverage centered on asset management, maintenance operations, and engineering data controls, with the SAP Enterprise Asset Management instance intended to support these business functions across Newmont’s operational sites. Integration was realized within the SAP ECC 6.0 environment, enabling EAM workflows to operate alongside core ERP transaction and reporting processes.
Governance work redefined EAM data stewardship and control frameworks, proposing to-be processes based on identified gaps and industry best practices. Workshops and stakeholder reviews were used to socialize standards and document procedural changes required to sustain master data quality for the Enterprise Asset Management program.
