In 2022, Nolle+Nordhorn implemented Jedox AIssisted to extend its SAP environment for detailed sales reporting, analysis and planning across wholesale, project and manufacturing divisions. The initiative addressed gaps in SAP standard analyses and replaced complex Excel workarounds with a web and mobile reporting layer accessed by management, finance and field sales.
The deployment used a Jedox cloud solution built on the Jedox Model SAP BI Ready to Run SD to deliver a highly scalable sales controlling layer. Functional capabilities implemented include sales reporting and analysis dashboards, DB1 invoice monitoring, incoming orders and offers tracking, material and purchasing evaluations, PDF report generation on demand, and integrated sales planning workflows. Jedox AIssisted Planning was introduced to generate machine learning driven default plan values from historical SAP data, while planners retain the ability to review and adjust forecasts.
Operationally the Jedox application is fed by SAP data, with the sales controlling system running separately from the internal SAP production system to avoid impact on company-wide operations. Access is provided via web and mobile interfaces under centrally controlled rights regulations, covering the finance department, management and field sales personnel. Advanced Applications GmbH, an SAP specialist and Jedox partner, supported the implementation as part of an SAP relaunch. The solution manages detailed plans for around 400 customers per sales employee in multiple segments.
Governance changes included a clear separation between transactional SAP operations and the analytical sales controlling layer, plus centralized access controls and outsourced cloud maintenance to free finance staff from routine IT tasks. As a deployment within the ML and Data Science Platforms category, Jedox AIssisted uses machine learning to prefill plan values which sales representatives can accept or adjust, enabling planners to concentrate on top customers. The project produced daily updated dashboards and consistent figures from a single data source, improving meeting efficiency and optimizing utilization of finance resources, while the cloud architecture allows further scaling and tailoring as data volumes and requirements grow.

In 2022 Nolle+Nordhorn implemented Jedox Enterprise Performance Management to extend its SAP environment and deliver detailed revenue breakdowns across wholesale, project, and manufacturing divisions, addressing gaps where standard SAP analyses were insufficient. The deployment targeted sales controlling and finance use cases, delivering web and mobile access to sales reporting and analysis under the EPM category, and enabling finance to manage the entire reporting process without disrupting the production SAP system.
The Jedox Enterprise Performance Management implementation used the Jedox Model SAP – BI Ready to Run SD as the foundation, allowing the project team to rapidly build detailed reporting. Functional capabilities configured included consolidated sales reporting, interactive dashboards with evaluations of sales, DB1-invoices, incoming orders, offers, material and purchasing, on demand PDF report generation, and sales planning workflows. The team also implemented Jedox AIssisted Planning functionality to generate machine learning based default plan values from historical SAP data, which sales representatives can accept or adjust.
Integration architecture separated the internal SAP transactional environment from the sales controlling system, with SAP supplying required data to the Jedox cloud solution. Users access the sales controlling application via web and mobile interfaces according to centrally controlled rights regulations, avoiding additional load on the company wide production system. Advanced Applications GmbH supported the implementation as a Jedox partner and SAP specialist during an SAP relaunch, and system maintenance was operated through the cloud.
Governance and process changes centralized reporting ownership in the finance department and introduced controlled self service for field staff and managers. The deployment produced a daily updated dashboard for management, gave field staff on demand access to individual flexible data sections, and enabled finance to produce PDFs at the touch of a button. With around 400 customers per sales employee planned in detail across segments and partial automation of planning, the project reduced planning workload for finance and provided a consistent single data source for sales meetings, while cloud operation allowed the company to scale the EPM solution as data volumes and requirements grow.
