Compello Process was configured to accept alternative invoice channels and to automate matching and payment authorization for recurring member subscriptions. Functional capabilities implemented included electronic invoice intake, automated data extraction and validation, workflow-based approval orchestration, and audit trail instrumentation to support finance and IT oversight. Operational coverage centered on the finance and IT functions, with change management led by the Finance and IT Manager Harald Masst to shift members away from paper invoices. The implementation emphasized member communications to drive adoption of electronic channels and redefined internal invoice processing procedures to leverage automated routing and exception handling. Outcomes reported by the Association were material, with savings of around 70 percent after one year attributed to offering alternative invoice channels, and more than 50 percent of former hard-copy invoice recipients choosing to pay via other channels. Compello Process as an AP Automation platform is presented as the core application enabling the move from paper billing to electronic subscription collection.
