IQVIA FIA was configured to ingest payer and claims level datasets for Insurance Claims Management and to feed the cloud warehouse ecosystem comprising a Data Lake, Amazon RedShift warehouse and a data visualization layer. Configuration emphasized claims level attribution, formulary insights and physician influence data to support call planning, targeting and self service field reporting for performance sales and Veeva CRM field activity.
The deployment integrated IQVIA FIA feeds with Veeva CRM and a unified Vault content repository for promotional and medical content, and correlated FIA data with third party datasets including Xponent Plantrak Weekly, LRx Weekly, DDD data sets, PDRP Opt outs, AMA No contacts, HCOS, HCPS, Specialty Pharmacy data, Fingertip Formulary and influence metrics. These integrated datasets populated the RedShift warehouse and BI layer to enable alignment of field activity, account targeting and roster allocation across IDN, health systems, managed care and specialty channels.
Governance workstreams defined business rules for alignment, overlay, call plan apportionment, targeting and incentive compensation related changes for the data warehouse and Veeva Align, and detailed CRM process maps for migration and analytics requirements. Rollout priorities focused on operationalizing self service analytics for field reps and central commercial teams, and consolidating claims intelligence into existing CRM driven workflows.
