In 2018, Nox Telecom implemented Zendesk Service for Customer Support. pluscloud served as the implementation partner for this cloud hosted SaaS deployment focused on the companys customer support function across its small support team.
The implementation centered on Zendesk Service ticketing, email channel routing, knowledge base publishing, workflow automation for ticket triage, and agent reporting. Configuration work included email to ticket mapping, agent role and permission setup, basic SLA routing rules, and templated responses to standardize first line support.
Operationally the rollout mapped the primary support address support@noxtelecom.nl into Zendesk and provisioned the Zendesk subdomain support@noxtelecom.zendesk.com as an alternative inbound route. During a documented outage on 15 October 2020 customers were instructed to use support@noxtelecom.zendesk.com, and the outage was resolved on 16 October 2020 when support@noxtelecom.nl became accessible again.
Governance and operational changes implemented with pluscloud included formalized ticket ownership, escalation paths within the Zendesk agent interface, and routine monitoring of inbound email routing. These controls supported the small team operating the Customer Support capability and centralized incident intake through Zendesk Service.
