In 2019, Ntiva implemented Sage Intacct as its ERP Financial platform to centralize accounting and finance operations. The Sage Intacct deployment was positioned to support core financial workflows including month end and year end close, reconciliations, accounts receivable and accounts payable oversight. Implementation activity and ongoing stewardship extended from January 2019 and continued into the present role timeframe described.
Configuration work emphasized General Ledger controls, automated reconciliations and reconciling journal entry workflows, alongside Accounts Receivable automation and collections management. The team configured revenue management controls to support ASC 606 compliance and executed unbilled revenue analysis across customer agreements. Fixed assets management capabilities were implemented for depreciation schedules, disposals and transfers, and to address tax accounting concerns, while Accounts Payable workflows supported review and approval of over 600 invoices monthly.
The deployment supported collaborative audit workflows and partnered with internal and external auditors to satisfy audit requirements and produce prepared reconciliations for balance sheet accounts. Operational coverage focused on finance, accounts receivable, accounts payable and tax functions, with remote supervision of the finance team and participation on financial advisory and consulting engagements during the Sage Intacct accounting system implementation. Governance activities included stewardship of month end and year end close procedures and maintenance of a debt reserve schedule.
Process governance and controls were tightened, with formal direction on GAAP application and compliance across transactions. The program introduced automated processes for customer account collections and improvements for maintaining fixed asset records, and it explicitly managed ASC 606 and ASC 842 implementations. Reported operational outcomes included an improvement in cash collection performance, reducing days sales outstanding from 130 days to 50 days, while ongoing responsibilities included supervision of reconciliations, journal entries and collections team activities.
