In 2014, Numatic International implemented Oracle E-Business Suite to support ERP Financial operations across its UK manufacturing organization. The deployment targeted finance-led processes including accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing and purchasing, while also enabling sales reporting and warehouse transaction capture. Numatic International is a UK manufacturer with approximately 1,355 employees and reported revenue of 329000000, which framed the scale of functional coverage.
As a Senior Analyst Programmer from September 2014 to January 2017, the implementation work focused on forms and reporting customization within Oracle E-Business Suite. Work included developing executive sales reports to compare year-on-year sales grouped by item catalog, creating a new Purchase Order print, and modifying invoicing screens while liaising with finance users for testing. The role also implemented a settlement discounts process to meet new VAT rules and modified WMS behavior to group container LPNS into ghost containers and pack items into them, in addition to resolving workflow notification issues.
The Oracle E-Business Suite instance was integrated with Oracle Business Intelligence technologies, supporting OBIEE and OBIA for reporting and analytics. Activities included mapping Oracle E-Business Suite attributes to OBIA dimensions and measures, making changes to the OBIA data warehouse and ETL layer using Informatica, DAC and the OBIA repository, and documenting those changes for migration into production. A new interface for EU Intrastat reporting was developed and tested, with reconciliations performed to delivery records to support statutory trade reporting.
Operational governance and release controls were formalized by creating a software installation procedure intended to improve the quality of software deployments, documenting changes for production migration, and investigating testing software to strengthen preproduction validation. Change control included approving installations into production in the absence of the business systems manager, mentoring junior staff, and liaising with Oracle Support to diagnose and report defects in standard Oracle software. These governance practices supported ongoing application support and controlled rollout of functional changes.
Business functions impacted by the Oracle E-Business Suite implementation included finance, purchasing, warehouse operations and executive reporting, with explicit work to reconcile OBIEE/OBIA reports to Oracle E-Business Suite for the financial director. The implementation explicitly addressed compliance needs by updating settlement discount processes for new VAT rules and creating Intrastat reporting interfaces reconciled to deliveries. The documented installation procedure was created to improve the quality of software deployments.

In 2021, Numatic International implemented UKG Ready HR (ex Kronos Workforce Ready HR) as its Core HR system. The deployment centralized workforce data for the United Kingdom based manufacturer, aligning HR and payroll workflows with time and attendance capture.
UKG Ready HR was configured to capture time and attendance alongside core HR records, enabling manager level visibility into staff availability and scheduling needs. The implementation used standard Core HR functional modules for time capture, payroll interfacing, and manager self service to support workforce planning and recruitment triggers as production demand shifted.
Time and attendance feeds were integrated directly into HR and payroll processes so analysis of that information flows into payroll and HR operations, enabling accurate pay runs and timely payroll execution. Manager dashboards consolidated workforce availability data and were used to match available workers to the production schedule so recruiting actions could be initiated when order book projections increased staffing needs.
Operational coverage included HR, payroll and frontline production management, with the system acting as the authoritative source for attendance and staffing decisions. The primary outcomes called out by users were the ability to pay employees accurately and on time, precise tracking of workforce availability against the production schedule, and improved capacity to recruit as order volumes increased.
