| ACI Worldwide | Legacy | ACI UP Bill Payment | Payment Processing | ERP | n/a | 2013 | 2014 |
In 2013 Ohio Mutual Insurance Group deployed ACI UP Bill Payment as its Payment Processing platform. Ohio Mutual implemented ACI UP Bill Payment to address both external policyholder experience goals and internal payments operations needs.
The implementation included ACI® Integrated Treasury Management™ as a module within ACI UP Bill Payment, and the use of APIs for tokenization to handle payment card data. The tokenization APIs reduced the PCI-compliance burden for Ohio Mutual while maintaining an uninterrupted payments experience for policyholders.
Operationally the Integrated Treasury Management functionality assumed responsibility for processor relationships, centralizing settlement flows and reconciliation points. This approach simplified payments reconciliation processes and helped Ohio Mutual save staff time on payment reconciliation, while supporting improved policyholder satisfaction through a more secure payment workflow.
From a governance and workflow perspective the deployment shifted custody of processor management out of dispersed operations into the ACI-managed treasury module, creating a single operational locus for payments orchestration. The combination of tokenization APIs and centralized treasury management restructured reconciliation workflows and compliance touchpoints within the payments function, aligning Payment Processing, risk controls, and policyholder billing operations.
