Fiserv Legacy Fiserv XP2 Credit Union Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2016 2017
In 2016 Oklahoma Central Credit Union operated Fiserv XP2 as its Credit Union Management application. Fiserv XP2 was provisioned as a relational membership database running on an IBM AIX core and managed by the credit union IT team, supporting core account and member record management functions. Operational modules and configuration tasks centered on membership administration, reporting, and system administration. The IT team wrote and maintained SQL scripts and stored procedures for reporting, supported SAP Crystal Reports for report delivery, and performed account management and feature testing within Fiserv XP2. Enterprise software packaging and endpoint deployments were executed using Microsoft SCCM, and Microsoft SQL Server instances were installed and maintained to support reporting and ancillary services. The implementation was operated alongside a broader IT stack rather than as a standalone service. ServiceNow was configured and implemented for ITSM and change management use by IT and other departments, Office 365 and Exchange accounts were managed as part of operational support, and servers and virtualization were provisioned on VMware vSphere while the XP2 core remained on IBM AIX. Automation of routine operational tasks employed SMA Opcon Enterprise Manager and custom scripts written in C#, PowerShell, and batch. Governance and process work included development of ITIL-aligned change management processes enforced via ServiceNow, periodic security audits, and media sanitation procedures. The IT team conducted branch visits for hardware maintenance and user training, and they developed internal processes and onboarding programs to orient new staff who supported Fiserv XP2 operations. Day-to-day operational ownership encompassed system administration, reporting support, feature testing, and end user training for Fiserv XP2. Support activities explicitly included installation and maintenance of underlying infrastructure, scripting for reporting, and integration of ITSM workflows to sustain Credit Union Management operations.
