Oracle Legacy Oracle Workforce Scheduling Workforce Scheduling HCM Alithya 2024 2025
In 2025 Oklahoma State University Medical Center implemented Oracle Fusion Cloud Workforce Scheduling as part of a broader Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM program, deploying Oracle Workforce Scheduling to modernize HR and frontline scheduling within the United States. The implementation targeted clinical staff scheduling and manager visibility, aligning Workforce Scheduling with enterprise human capital planning workstreams. Oracle Fusion Cloud Workforce Scheduling was configured to enable manager visibility and intelligent self-scheduling for clinical staff, delivering real-time workforce insights and schedule orchestration capabilities. Functional capabilities implemented included rules-based scheduling and self-scheduling workflows that support clinical shift coverage, manager approvals, and visibility into staffing gaps. The deployment was delivered by Alithya and integrated into the Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM program, establishing data flow between scheduling and core HCM components for employee records, roles, and position management. Operational coverage focused on HR and clinical operations, enabling frontline managers and staff across the medical center to use the scheduling application for daily and weekly shift planning. Governance and rollout were coordinated through the Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM program office with Alithya as the implementation partner and the solution going live in 2025. The implementation provided real-time workforce insights and is expected to improve scheduling efficiency and patient satisfaction.
