| Web4ce | Legacy | Web4ce | Application Hosting and Computing Services | IaaS | n/a | 2014 | 2014 |
In 2014, Optimics deployed Web4ce to host and run its public website. Optimics implemented the Web4ce application within Application Hosting and Computing Services to provide managed web application hosting, application runtime management, content delivery behavior, and platform monitoring for its customer facing site.
The implementation used a managed hosting model where Web4ce provided platform provisioning, server and runtime configuration, and ongoing infrastructure monitoring consistent with Application Hosting and Computing Services. Operational ownership for content and site updates remained with Optimics’ web operations and marketing functions, while Web4ce handled platform availability, security patching, and platform-level change control during rollout and steady state operations.
