Implementation work targeted Oracle E-Business Suite R12.1 and R12.2 release development with primary responsibilities organized around application extension, customization and ongoing technical maintenance.
Development deliverables emphasized RICEW artifacts, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions and Workflow, along with customized Oracle Forms and OAF pages. Technical capabilities implemented included Oracle Reports, BI Publisher, SQL and PL/SQL development, OAF/ADF development and shell scripting, underpinned by detailed knowledge of the R12 financial table structure. Functional modules configured and exercised included P2P, Oracle General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Sub-ledger Accounting and System Administrator modules.
Operational scope included close end-user interaction and requirements gathering with business users and BA SA resources to produce technical specification documents and to perform impact analysis on proposed code changes. Interfaces and conversions were developed to exchange transactional data with other enterprise systems and to support procure-to-pay and order-to-cash workflows. Activities covered new development, maintenance and production support across finance, accounting, treasury and procurement functions.
Delivery adhered to Agile methodologies for iterative development and prioritized production support and maintenance rhythms. Governance practices included formal technical specification documentation, structured impact analysis for code changes and compliance with company policies and directives governing team assignments and work arrangements. Workstreams integrated testing and deployment of customized forms and automated reporting artifacts to align application configuration with finance process controls and Sub-ledger Accounting requirements.
