A purpose built allocation workflow was embedded using the Four Column report methodology, covering allocation, response, confirmation and depletion or sale of wine, to manage finite inventory and customer order adjustments. Integrations were explicitly instrumented between Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Microsoft Dynamics CRM, with CRM serving as the master data source for customer and demand information. The architecture includes Azure SQL as a consolidated data store, Power Apps for operational forms and data capture, and Power BI for analytical reporting and visualization, enabling data flow between CRM, Business Central and reporting layers. Operational governance was adjusted to incorporate the Four Column report into order orchestration and inventory governance, formalizing steps for allocation decisions, customer response and final confirmation before depletion. Workflows were configured to enforce confirmation rules and capture depletion events, aligning transactional ERP processes with CRM sourced demand signals.
