| Infor | Legacy | Infor d/EPM Financial Consolidation | Financial Consolidation and Close | EPM | n/a | 2019 | 2019 | In 2019, Oryx Petroleum implemented Infor d/EPM Financial Consolidation as part of a focused migration of its management reporting and budgeting model. The engagement ran from March 2019 to July 2019 and upgraded the client environment to Infor d/EPM version 12, addressing compatibility and feature deprecation in the existing model. This work sits squarely in the Financial Consolidation and Close category and targeted core financial reporting and budgeting workflows. The implementation centered on migrating the existing management reporting and budgeting model onto a new server platform and switching out deprecated features so the model functioned correctly with Infor d/EPM Financial Consolidation version 12. Configuration activities included updating consolidation logic, adapting calculation and reporting behaviors to the newer release, and validating dimensional hierarchies and reporting cubes to preserve management reporting outputs. Testing cycles focused on regression of financial reports and budget aggregation routines. Integration work emphasized continuity of the client budget upload process, the lead consultant building a new Excel VBA based upload pipeline so users could continue to push budget data into the Infor d/EPM Financial Consolidation model. The deployment linked the updated server platform with Excel driven data entry and the consolidated reporting layer, keeping the finance function as the primary operational scope in Geneva Area, Switzerland. No external system integrators were specified for the project. Governance and rollout were executed over a five month engagement, with configuration changes documented and operational handover provided to client finance users. The migration replaced deprecated functionality with supported constructs in version 12 and included targeted knowledge transfer to ensure the Excel upload process and revised reporting routines could be maintained by the internal finance team. |
