In 2016, Owlet Baby Care implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as its ERP Financial platform. The engagement was executed as a managed business award with a six month transition to Oracle NetSuite ERP focused on centralizing transactional finance and standardizing order and revenue flows.
Configuration emphasis covered core financial modules typical of ERP Financial deployments, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset accounting, and billing and revenue processes. Order to cash and procure to pay workflows were aligned with commerce and fulfillment touchpoints, and automated invoicing and payment reconciliation routines were configured to support high velocity e-commerce transactions.
Integrations completed during the six month transition explicitly included payment portals, warehouse systems, CRM systems, EDI connections, e-commerce platforms, and other third party services. Those integrations linked finance, order management, fulfillment, and customer service processes, and established EDI connectivity for trading partner transaction flows.
The rollout encompassed cutover sequencing, process mapping, data consolidation, and EDI onboarding, with governance instituted through centralized change control and transactional cutover windows. Oracle NetSuite ERP became the financial system of record for Owlet Baby Care, underpinning cross functional finance and commerce operations.
