In 2019, Ozmaq implemented VitalEdge e-Emphasys ERP from VitalEdge Technologies, deploying the solution as a Distribution ERP to standardize operations for its forklifts and material handling machinery business. The deployment was centered in San Luis Potosí and extended operational control into two service centers and three branch locations, aligning corporate operations with field service and distribution workflows. VitalEdge e-Emphasys ERP was configured to support core Distribution ERP capabilities including maintenance and service management for rental and customer fleets, inventory and distribution center control, procurement and sourcing workflows, logistics orchestration, and quality management. The implementation emphasized configuration of service center workflows and rental equipment maintenance programs, reflecting typical Distribution ERP functional modules for asset availability and parts replenishment. Operational coverage and integrations were organized around cross functional areas named by the client, specifically Safety & Security, Sourcing, Logistics, Quality, Distribution Center, two Service Centers and three Branches. The implementation unified transactional and operational processes across those areas to ensure maintenance programs for rental and customer fleets, and to centralize inventory and equipment availability data within the VitalEdge e-Emphasys ERP environment. Governance and process transformation were led by the operations organization, which established optimization strategies, a Quality System with processes and procedures, and continuous improvement and Six Sigma project management. Governance included KPI setting and talent development, with reported outcomes including reductions in quality claims and maintenance cost, improvements in equipment availability and inventory control, fewer accidents, and higher customer satisfaction as part of the ERP program.
