In 2013 Panin Bank upgraded Oracle E-Business Suite from 12.0.4 to Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1.3, executing the upgrade project from Oct 2013 to Feb 2014 on an AIX platform. The engagement addressed the banks ERP Financial environment for PT. Bank Panin, Tbk, establishing a current application baseline and platform compatibility for ongoing financial operations.
The upgrade work centered on the Oracle E-Business Suite financial application stack and aligned the ERP Financial footprint with standard capabilities such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Management. Configuration activities included application tier and database tier compatibility work, release patching, and schema updates required by the 12.1.3 release.
Operational scope covered corporate finance and treasury functions across PT. Bank Panin, Tbk, with Oracle E-Business Suite serving as the core ERP Financial system for transactional processing and financial record keeping. The implementation was executed on AIX, preserving the banks platform architecture while advancing application functionality and supportability.
Project governance emphasized platform compatibility validation, regression testing, and cutover planning within the Oct 2013 to Feb 2014 window. In 2013 Panin Bank implemented Oracle E-Business Suite Payroll to support its core Payroll operations across the bank. The Oracle E-Business Suite Payroll deployment provided a centralized payroll processing and payroll administration platform aligned with HR payroll workflows and operating procedures within Panin Bank IT operations in the Greater Jakarta Area.
The implementation encompassed configuration and customization of payroll processing modules and integration with existing Oracle HCMS for payroll management. Oracle Middleware application components were developed and customized during the project to support secure application orchestration, payroll data flows, and system interfaces.
Integrations and infrastructure work included Oracle Identity Management, fingerprint and pinpad authentication devices, smartcard ATM systems, HSM for secure card PIN mailer operations, Active Directory, and on premise database and operating system environments such as Oracle and SQL Server databases, OS400, Unix, Solaris, and AIX. These integrations reflect a hybrid application and infrastructure footprint where Oracle E-Business Suite Payroll was provisioned to interoperate with bank security, authentication, card operations, and core data stores.
Governance and operationalization were led by the bank IT security function, which managed system policy and procedure, scheduled security awareness and training, conducted proof of concept and system architecture design activities, and maintained the payroll application through ongoing support and maintenance cycles. The project team executed implementation, training, and maintenance tasks to embed Oracle E-Business Suite Payroll into Panin Bank business and IT workflows.

| Fiserv | Legacy | Fiserv Mobiliti | Digital Banking | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016, Panin Bank deployed Fiserv Mobiliti to launch a Digital Banking service across its retail and business customer channels in Indonesia. The implementation combined Fiserv Mobiliti with Corillian Online to create an integrated online and mobile banking front end. Ken Ng, director of retail banking at Panin Bank, said Fiserv allowed the bank to develop an "innovative, feature-rich and integrated digital banking service that consumers have come to expect in the modern banking landscape".
Corillian Online was configured to aggregate common online banking functionalities, including account balances, statements, transfers, notifications, alerts, and electronic bills and payments onto a single screen, while Fiserv Mobiliti delivered mobile banking and payments capabilities. Mobiliti enabled multi-channel mobile access via SMS text messaging, mobile browser interfaces, and native smartphone applications. The solution focused on consumer-facing transaction workflows and notification orchestration consistent with the Digital Banking category.
The deployment was integrated with Panin Bank's existing Fiserv Signature core banking platform and aligned with a previously implemented Fiserv CRM, creating end-to-end connectivity between retail channels and core account services. Panin had earlier implemented Aperio from Fiserv in 2013, which provided branch operations and relationship management components that remained part of the operational architecture. Operational coverage included Panin's Indonesia branch network and customer access across around 350 offices and more than 16,000 ATMs.
Governance and rollout were driven by retail banking leadership to centralize online and mobile channel workflows and to unify account presentation, payments, and alerts across channels. The implementation linked online single-screen servicing via Corillian Online with mobile channel orchestration through Fiserv Mobiliti and aligned branch operations with Aperio and the Signature core. This configuration positioned Panin Bank's Fiserv Mobiliti Digital Banking platform to deliver consolidated customer account views and multi-channel payments and transfer capabilities.
