Operational integrations were implemented to synchronize benefits election and life event records with the company HRIS and with external benefits vendor portals and plan administrators, enabling vendor management workflows and reconciliation of self insured plan feeds. The deployment covered companywide employee groups and routed benefit inquiries through HR case handling and the benefits administration team, making the HR Generalist the primary operational owner for day to day benefits administration. Governance and process changes established owner level responsibilities for open enrollment communications, vendor liaison and data audits, and required HR to maintain documentation and reporting to support ACA ERISA COBRA and HIPAA compliance. The implementation emphasized role based access for HR staff and employee self service, standardized enrollment procedures, and a repeatable open enrollment cadence managed through GreenShades Benefits Administration.
