| Microsoft | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, PCL Construction implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations as its ERP Financial platform, migrating from SAP ERP ECC 6.0. The program was scoped to consolidate construction project management and quality workflows into a single enterprise application, aligning project controls with corporate finance processes.
Work centered on the quality management side of construction projects, where Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations was configured to capture inspection records, nonconformance tracking, and project level quality documentation. As an ERP Financial deployment the effort also incorporated standard financial capabilities such as general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure project cost accounting and quality workflows were connected to enterprise finance.
Delivery used a BA led structure, with teams responsible for requirements gathering, process validation, and documentation, and a named PCL project lead overseeing design and development. Azure DevOps Services was used for development tracking and change control during configuration and testing, and the implementation coordinated stakeholders in quality, project management, and finance across PCL sites.
Governance emphasized formal process validation and documentation to standardize quality and project controls inside Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, with staged configuration and testing phases managed by internal business analysts. The initiative aimed to unify disparate project management functions into a single ERP Financial system while preserving ongoing design and development activity into post deployment support.

| SAP | Oracle Cloud HCM | SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2021 | 2021 |
In 2021 PCL Construction implemented SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as its Core HR system. The rollout was led by the Sr. District HR Manager across January to December 2021 with oversight of a $2.5 million budget and a seven person senior HR team, and it targeted HR operations across the United States and Canada.
The implementation centered on configuring SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central to establish a unified employee data model and core HR workflows, while embedding compensation workflows and succession planning processes. Configuration work included population of personnel records, role based approval routing for compensation changes, and alignment of talent development processes to support a new high potential training program and C suite succession planning.
Data migration activity moved workforce records from Oracle Cloud HCM into the new Employee Central environment, and the program coordinated compliance and payroll related processes across USA and Canada. Operational coverage included HR business partnering with senior management, contract to permanent hire workflows, and high level employee relations and union relations activities to ensure consistent practices across project and district operations.
Governance was formalized through a new HR Vision aligned to the company strategic business plan, with structured approval and coaching workflows for succession and compensation decisions. The implementation also established process ownership within the HR team, defined compliance touchpoints for senior management, and phased rollout governance to align training and compensation policy changes with system go live dates.
Outcomes explicitly recorded by the HR lead include the successful rollout of the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central HR management system, launch of a new compensation model for USA and Canada, and deployment of a new training program for high potential employees. These delivered a centralized Core HR platform for ongoing talent management and succession planning at PCL Construction.

| Sensera Systems | Legacy | SiteCloud | Analytics and BI | Analytics and BI | n/a | 2021 | 2021 |
In 2021, PCL Construction signed an enterprise agreement with Sensera Systems in December 2021 to integrate Sensera cameras with the SiteCloud application for real time jobsite monitoring, safety, and security. The deployment centers on SiteCloud, classified under Analytics and BI, and establishes a standardized platform to collect visual telemetry and analytic outputs across PCL projects.
The implementation incorporates SiteCloud Analytics, with inferred use of modules such as LaborTrend to deliver automated jobsite analytics and labor estimation for project operations. Configuration work focuses on continuous video ingestion, analytics pipelines that produce time series labor and activity trends, role based dashboards, and alerting workflows consistent with Analytics and BI functional capabilities.
Architecturally the solution aggregates Sensera camera feeds into the cloud based SiteCloud platform to provide real time streams and processed analytics to project operations, safety, and security teams. The rollout originated in Canada and is intended for extension to PCL global operations, with the enterprise agreement providing a mechanism to standardize camera and analytics configurations across sites.
Governance established through the agreement standardizes configuration baselines, centralizes analytics ownership and access controls, and aligns operational workflows for monitoring and safety across project teams. SiteCloud is positioned as the centralized Analytics and BI layer for visual monitoring and automated labor estimation within PCL project operations.
