Integrations and operational coverage included negotiation and coordination with FedEx to enable an automated shipping flow, and administration of the company FedEx.com site to manage outbound shipments. The program required regular coordination between vendors, end users, the Mailroom and the IT Department for order status, returns and operational support, establishing a clear interface between postal operations and carrier systems. Procurement and governance were executed through a complex Request for Proposal process, where Pegasystems negotiated optimal pricing, secured substitute vendors when necessary, and managed vendor contracts. Day to day governance included assisting roughly 2,800 employees with purchase requests and supervising both internal and outsourced Mailroom personnel, creating centralized operational ownership for the Mailing System and related shipping workflows.
