The engagement was executed by a SuccessFactors EC and Onboarding implementation team that focused on Employee Central and Onboarding module configuration and process alignment.
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central was configured to centralize core employee records, manager and employee self-service, and onboarding workflows consistent with Core HR functional patterns. Team members served as super users in the global HRIS, applicant tracking system and performance management system to resolve user issues and answer employee questions, providing practical operational support and subject matter expertise.
Operational scope emphasized HR operations, recruiting touchpoints and performance management processes, with governance anchored in a super user model that handled user escalations, frontline training and ongoing issue triage. In 2005 Pegasystems implemented Quadient Neopost IS-5000 as a Mailing System to standardize postage metering and mailroom tracking. The Quadient Neopost IS-5000 deployment was positioned to support mail operations and shipping business functions across the company, covering service workflows used by approximately 2,800 employees.
The implementation encompassed Neopost mailing and internal tracking capabilities, along with postage metering and accounting configuration consistent with enterprise mailroom tooling. Quadient Neopost IS-5000 was configured to manage mail streams, internal tracking of shipments, and mailroom workflow orchestration, while administrators maintained operational control over postage accounts and tracking records.
Integrations and operational coverage included negotiation and coordination with FedEx to enable an automated shipping flow, and administration of the company FedEx.com site to manage outbound shipments. The program required regular coordination between vendors, end users, the Mailroom and the IT Department for order status, returns and operational support, establishing a clear interface between postal operations and carrier systems.
Procurement and governance were executed through a complex Request for Proposal process, where Pegasystems negotiated optimal pricing, secured substitute vendors when necessary, and managed vendor contracts. Day to day governance included assisting roughly 2,800 employees with purchase requests and supervising both internal and outsourced Mailroom personnel, creating centralized operational ownership for the Mailing System and related shipping workflows.

Operational scope described in the prototype targeted recruiting workflows for resume sorting and screening, with the Pega Platform acting as the orchestration layer for model calls, prompt management, and result presentation.
Governance and rollout remained at proof of concept stage, with the prototype developed and presented internally to demonstrate generalized Azure OpenAI PDF-prompting capabilities for the Pega Platform. The documented outcome from the POC noted faster sorting through resumes as an immediate benefit, and the implementation narrative centers on embedding Generative AI Platforms capability into existing Pega orchestration and client-facing process automation.
