In 2019, PGL deployed Compleat Accounts Payable as its AP Automation solution to centralize invoice processing for the company’s finance function. The deployment targeted PGL’s professional services operations in the United Kingdom and aligned with the company size and staffing profile across corporate finance and accounts payable teams.
Compleat Accounts Payable was configured to support core AP Automation workflows including automated invoice capture and OCR, configurable invoice approval routing, three way purchase order matching and supplier invoice handling. System administration skills were maintained internally, with a Systems Administrator role responsible for configuration, user hierarchies, permissions, and automation rule sets, and Microsoft Power Automate used to extend workflow orchestration where needed.
The implementation integrated the Compleat Accounts Payable ledger posting and transactional handoffs with iScala, and reporting and analytics were surfaced through Microsoft Power BI while Microsoft Excel remained in use for data imports and operational reconciliations. Governance centered on standardized approval workflows and centralized AP administration to streamline invoice lifecycle management across PGL’s finance organization.

In 2014, PGL implemented Sage Snowdrops HR. The deployment targeted Core HR capabilities across PGL, aligning HR, Recruitment, Payroll, Learning and Development, Operations and IT workflows within the United Kingdom.
Configuration and module work for Sage Snowdrops HR centered on applicant tracking, employee contract lifecycle management, configurable HR reporting, role based access controls, and data integrity and security processes. The implementation included development activity against Snowdrop KCS to extend core HR functionality and to optimize report generation for both strategic and day to day management information.
Operational integration focused on connecting recruitment and onboarding workflows to payroll handoffs and learning and development touchpoints, while supporting operational teams and IT for system administration and user support. Governance emphasized documented business requirements, formal testing cycles, creation and maintenance of training materials, and first line user support processes. Project management responsibility rested with internal IT Management Information and HR/Recruitment teams who managed configuration, testing, change request analysis and staged rollout across the business.
