In 2011, MedLife implemented TotalSoft Charisma EMR as part of a coordinated, multi-module deployment that included Charisma Medical Software alongside Charisma ERP and Charisma HCM. The initiative targeted MedLife's clinics and hospitals across Romania, aiming to integrate clinical, laboratory, financial and HR workflows within the largest private healthcare network in the country, and aligns with the Electronic Health Record category for clinical systems.
The implementation configured core clinical record and documentation capabilities in TotalSoft Charisma EMR together with laboratory data consolidation and order tracking in Charisma Medical Software. Financial and administrative automation was delivered through Charisma ERP, while staff management and payroll workflows were provisioned via Charisma HCM, creating an integrated suite of patient record, lab result, billing and workforce management functionality.
Integration work focused on unifying patient and laboratory datasets and orchestrating administrative handoffs between clinical and back office modules, enabling consolidated records and automated administrative processes across sites. The deployment spanned MedLife clinics and hospitals, providing a single operational footprint for clinical documentation, lab consolidation, revenue cycle touch points and HR operations across the network.
Rollout governance followed a multi-module Charisma rollout model with cross-functional coordination between clinical, laboratory, finance and HR stakeholders, aligning workflows to the integrated applications. The vendor and press communications describe the project as consolidating patient and lab data and automating administrative processes to support MedLife's expansion in Romania, outcomes that are directly stated in the implementation sources.
