FIS Global Legacy FIS GETPAID AR Automation ERP n/a 2005 2005
In 2005, Philips Lifeline implemented FIS GETPAID for AR Automation to centralize corporate credit and collections activities and institutionalize forecasting for customer risk. The deployment focused on supporting a six person Credit Analyst team and Finance Management workflows for ongoing risk assessments and corporate collections oversight. FIS GETPAID was configured as the credit and collections application to aggregate receivables data across multiple systems and to formalize credit request, credit line approval, statement generation, and past due communication workflows. To streamline analyst work, the team architected a custom Microsoft Access database and oversaw migration of records from Excel to accelerate generation of credit requests, approvals, statements and past due letters while complementing FIS GETPAID functionality. The Credit team represented departmental requirements during a migration from PeopleSoft to SAP, teaming with IT to provide upload files, verify data accuracy, log system issues and confirm resolution, then subsequently initiated use of FIS GETPAID to consolidate data feeds for more accurate risk forecasting. Operational scope included corporate credit and collections, coordination with Finance Management, and a managed relationship with vendor National Lien to protect company assets in default situations. Governance changes included new management reporting and operational metric analysis produced from FIS GETPAID and supporting tools, design and implementation of process improvements to maximize resources and improve operational efficiency, and assistance to leadership to identify, prioritize, plan, support, and execute cost savings. As an explicit outcome, the program achieved a monthly corporate collection goal of 87 percent through improved forecasts and proactive payment terms that helped several loyal clients remain in good standing during the recession.

Microsoft Legacy Microsoft Power BI Analytics and BI Analytics and BI n/a 2013 2018
In 2013 Philips Lifeline implemented Microsoft Power BI for Analytics and BI. The implementation targeted enterprise reporting and self service analytics at a manufacturing company of roughly 800 employees, with an operational focus on customer service workflows and business user decision support. The deployment combined Microsoft Power BI with SSRS, SSIS, Tabular models, DAX, Report Builder and SQL Server to deliver a hybrid of interactive dashboards and paginated reports. Functional capabilities implemented included interactive Power BI dashboards, SSRS paginated reporting, Tabular semantic models with DAX measures, and ETL pipelines using SSIS for profiling, extracting and transforming data from source systems. Integrations and operational coverage centered on PeopleSoft and SQL Server sources, with SSIS pipelines feeding dimensional models built to star schema principles. Tableau continued to be supported for graphical display of selected dashboards while reports created with Report Builder and SSRS remained part of operational reporting for customer service and related business functions. Governance and delivery practices emphasized development of technical specifications, coordination of requirements with business users, and iterative reviews of reporting information to establish common understanding. The analytics implementation prioritized data modeling and dimensional modeling to provide reusable Tabular models and standardized metrics usable across Microsoft Power BI and existing reporting layers.
