| Epicor | Legacy | Epicor Advanced MES (Mattec) | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | GreenMoore Enterprises | 2015 | 2015 | In 2015, Philmac implemented Epicor Advanced MES (Mattec) in the ERP Financial category with GreenMoore Enterprises as the systems integrator. The deployment targeted planning, scheduling, prioritising, expediting and executing manufacturing production and assembly workflows to support a range of export-focused product lines at Philmac’s Australian manufacturing operations. Epicor Advanced MES (Mattec) was configured to support export planning and scheduling, inventory control, purchasing and outsourcing orchestration, and manufacturing information management. Functional capabilities implemented include export orders and ETA tracking with a service goal to provide ETAs to export customer service within 24 hours, production prioritisation and expediting controls, back-flush error capture and rectification for WIP and finished goods receipts, and mechanisms to generate export IFOT performance reports with a stated target of greater than 95 percent. The implementation integrated core manufacturing information flows with existing production information systems, including ERPLX and MATTEC, and established operational links to product development to maintain accurate bills of materials and routings. Operational coverage spans cross-functional teams in Quality, Export, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Inventory, Distribution and Purchasing, with day to day ETA updates, weekly coordination meetings between export and manufacturing, and monthly raw material usage reporting to head office and forecasts to relevant suppliers. Governance and process changes delivered through the project included standardized procurement controls to ensure purchases from approved suppliers, purchase order reconciliation for raw materials and cartons, participation in annual and semiannual stocktakes, and defined workflows to pursue record inaccuracies with store personnel. The rollout emphasized continuous improvement of manufacturing production information systems and explicit support for Non Cash Working Capital by maintaining optimal stock levels to support business operations. |
