In 2024, Pirelli Poland implemented Mindento Expense, adopting Expense Management to automate travel and expense processes across its Poland finance organization. The deployment targeted corporate travel and employee expense workflows and was scoped to finance and T&E operations supporting the company’s local staff.
Mindento Expense was configured to provide expense and T&E automation along with document capture and automated posting capabilities. The implementation included configurable approval workflows, scanned document ingestion and a persistent audit trail to support expense verification and control, aligning typical Expense Management functional workflows with Pirelli Poland’s accounting processes.
The system was integrated into existing finance workflows to automate posting and to provide an auditable record for expense transactions, reducing reliance on paper records. Operational coverage focused on the finance and travel expense teams in Poland, centralizing expense submission, capture and approval for the local organization.
Governance was reinforced through the solution’s audit trail and automated posting, enabling finance to standardize review and posting workflows. Reported operational outcomes included a reduction in monthly accounting effort from 8–12 hours to about 3 hours and the elimination of large volumes of paper documentation for finance and T&E in Poland.
