Oracle Legacy Oracle NetSuite ERP ERP Financial ERP n/a 2016 2017
In 2016, Pirum Systems Ltd deployed Oracle NetSuite ERP as a cloud based unified financial and CRM platform. The Oracle NetSuite ERP deployment served Pirum Systems Ltd's ERP Financial requirements by addressing multi currency and multi company accounting and providing consolidated real time financial visibility. The implementation centered on NetSuite OneWorld, NetSuite Advanced Financials, and NetSuite Customer Relationship Management CRM to provide global accounting controls, budgeting and expense allocations, flexible billing management, and a 360 degree customer lifecycle flow from lead through opportunity, sales order, fulfillment, renewal, upsell, and support. Two SuiteApps were implemented, Fixed Assets and Electronic Payment, to extend fixed asset management and electronic receipting and to streamline invoice creation and payment processing. Automation and integration workstreams included CSV import routines to ingest monthly sales invoice extracts from the transaction environment, automated attachment of backup PDF documentation into a structured NetSuite folder named by sales invoice number, programmatic linking of created sales invoices to their associated PDFs, and automated emailing of invoices to designated customer contacts. Off the shelf migration tools and utilities were used to consolidate historical financial and CRM records onto the single cloud platform. The rollout was delivered through on site consultancy using a phased five step methodology comprising Kick off and Initiation, Process and Set Up, Solution Workshops, End User Training, and Go Live and Support, aligned to standard NetSuite implementation practices to govern configuration, data conversion, testing, and user adoption across finance and commercial teams. Governance focused on aligning multi company accounting rules, tax and currency adjustments, and billing automation to business processes. Documented outcomes included a two days per month reduction in finance administrative and reporting effort, centralized storage of all data on a single cloud based platform, comprehensive multi currency management and financial consolidation, real time visibility of financials for CRM teams to access anywhere, and unified global CRM management to align finance, sales, and services.
