In 2014, Pix Transmissions deployed Lighthouse ERP from Lighthouse Info Systems as an ERP Financial application supporting manufacturing and centralized IT operations. The implementation focused on core financial and operational control, with initial hosting and ERP server management performed on Windows Server 2012 R2 infrastructure.
Lighthouse ERP was configured to support HRMS and CRM functional modules, with explicit user creation and rights management processes implemented for role based access. Web access for ERP modules was provisioned through a GlassFish application server, and the database layer was managed on an Oracle base, while web mail continued to run on Netcore for enterprise messaging.
The deployment architecture included virtualization and high availability components, ERP servers running in VMware and a virtual backup server dedicated to Lighthouse ERP. Disaster recovery servers and Lenovo NAS appliances were maintained for backups, and endpoint protection was provided by Symantec Endpoint Protection. Network and perimeter security used Cyberoam CR50iNG firewalls with IPsec VPN links connecting Mumbai, Germany, UK and Dubai, and site level connectivity between Hingna MIDC and Nagalwadi plant was sustained using Cambium wireless canopy links.
Operational governance and day to day administration were centralized in the IT department, with domain, group policy and file server security managed on Windows Server 2008 R2. Terminal servers on 2008 R2 and 2012 R2 supported ERP access and administrative sessions, centralized access control was enforced via ESSL, and ongoing monitoring covered ERP server health and remote site connectivity to ensure continuous operations.

In 2014, Pix Transmissions deployed Infor LN as its Manufacturing ERP. The implementation prioritized HRMS and CRM capabilities within Infor LN, with explicit configuration of user creation and rights management to centralize access control across plant and remote users.
The technical deployment positioned Infor LN on a Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard ERP server, with Terminal Server access delivered from Windows Server 2008 R2 and 2012 R2 instances. Web access to Infor LN was provisioned through a Glassfish Server and the application relied on an Oracle base for persistent storage. Backup and recovery were implemented using VMware based virtual backup servers, maintained disaster recovery servers, and Lenovo NAS appliances, while endpoint protection was managed with Symantec Endpoint Protection.
Network topology and site connectivity were integral to the rollout, four remote locations were connected via IPsec VPN using Cyberoam CR50iNG appliances serving Mumbai, Germany, UK and Dubai, and on site connectivity between Hingna MIDC and Nagalwadi Plant was maintained using Wireless Canopy technology from Cambium. Supporting operational services integrated into the ERP environment included a web based mail system running on Netcore and a centralized access control system from ESSL to align physical access and user administration.
Governance and operational ownership rested with the internal IT department, which handled ERP server monitoring, user rights administration, terminal server provisioning and ongoing disaster recovery maintenance. Routine responsibilities included firewall management, VPN operations, server patching and backups, and continuous administration of Infor LN users and security configurations.
