Operational scope centered on the finance organization and traveling employees, with the solution supporting mobile-first submission for road teams and centralized processing by accounting and accounts payable. Governance changes included embedding spend rules to prevent noncompliant claims and to flag duplicates at submission, plus streamlined workflows that reduced training needs and allowed faster onboarding as headcount expanded. Results cited in the implementation narrative show finance processing time dropped from 10 to 15 minutes per report down to about two minutes, enabling processing and payments five times faster and allowing reimbursements submitted early in the week to be paid by Thursday. The program delivered resource optimization equivalent to one full-time employee salary and improved employee confidence in timely reimbursement, while providing scalable Expense Management capabilities as Planet Home Lending continued to grow.

Governance and workflow changes established standardized procedures for submitting backgrounds, routing letters of explanation for review and approval, dispositioning candidates and offers in Paycom, and notifying candidates and managers when clearances completed. The implementation also embedded GoodHire status into existing personnel file maintenance and ServiceNow ticketing for vendor and temporary employee lifecycle events.

Administrators configured SSO for Director 7, Passport 9, Invoice Management, BK/FC, AIP, Servicing Digital/LoanSphere, BITB, NCI, NCP and adjacent systems, and built Passport reports and loan indicators used by servicing teams. The environment uses report activation in ODDs and task tracking in Director, with operational workflows for building, running and balancing transactions and transmitted files. Integrations and operational coverage were implemented for MSP to MSP loan transfer and boarding, with Planet Home Lending staff participating in Black Knight led calls for mapping and transfer activities. Year end processing was operationalized in the ICE Mortgage Black Knight MSP environment, including scrubbing year end data for 1098s, 1099 As, 1099 Cs and Hacienda Puerto Rico filings, ordering and uploading state files, and pulling and reviewing daily and year end reports such as i-723, i-726 and ZZ92. The platform also supports SCRA reporting and the upload process used by compliance and customer care functions. Governance and operational processes were formalized around monthly enhancement management, categorization and distribution of Black Knight enhancement notifications, and maintenance of year end process checklists. System administration responsibilities include password resets, account unlocks, security access changes to workstations and fields, managing suppress exempt and purge coding, and balancing user accounts to identify inactive users. Administrators also built a departmental matrix to locate security fields across workstations and managed relationships with print vendors for file balancing. Planet Home Lending’s use of ICE Mortgage Black Knight MSP centers on loan servicing, compliance, reporting and systems administration across multiple business functions and departments. Ongoing operational ownership is concentrated in system administration roles that handle security templates, access management, reporting, SSO provisioning and year end processing within the Loan Management environment.
