In 2022, Platinum Stairlifts implemented NetSuite OneWorld with NetSuite CPQ and manufacturing to enable personalized customer configurations across its UK business. The project included the NetSuite CPQ AI Assistant as the conversational layer, aligned to the Chatbots and Conversational AI category, to support configuration and quoting workflows.
The deployment configured NetSuite CPQ to capture configurable product options and automatically generate bills of materials and branded proposals, while the manufacturing module managed production data and shop floor inputs. NetSuite CPQ AI Assistant was positioned to guide sales users through configuration logic, accelerate option selection, and surface standardized proposal content, leveraging conversational interaction patterns common to CPQ chat assistants.
Technical integration centered on NetSuite OneWorld as the ERP backbone with native CPQ and manufacturing modules orchestrating BOM generation and proposal output. The implementation covered sales and manufacturing functions in the United Kingdom, and was delivered with implementation partner BrightBridge alongside SI/VAR NoBlue2 to support configuration, data migration, and go live activities.
Governance changes consolidated configuration rules and quote approval workflows inside the NetSuite CPQ environment to reduce manual handoffs and misconfigurations. Outcomes reported in the case study include faster quotes and elimination of configuration errors in the UK, driven by the integrated CPQ and manufacturing workflow and the conversational assistance layer provided by the NetSuite CPQ AI Assistant.
