| SAP | Legacy | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | ERP Financial | ERP | Fujitsu | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018 PSNI implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 for ERP Financial. The deployment runs SAP ECC 6.0 EHP4 and PSNI is executing a managed upgrade path to SAP ECC 6.0 EHP8, while the SAP Portal layer is currently NW7.0 EHP1 with a planned upgrade to NW7.5.
The SAP ERP ECC 6.0 implementation centers on ERP Financial capabilities, including Finance General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling modules, supporting statutory accounting and financial close workflows typical of public sector finance operations. Configuration work documented standard financial posting, period close sequencing, and reporting structures aligned to PSNI accounting requirements.
The environment integrates SAP ERP ECC 6.0 with the SAP Portal NW7.0 EHP1 as the primary user interface and self-service layer. Fujitsu is the named systems integrator responsible for implementation and the ongoing EHP and portal upgrade activities. Operational coverage includes central finance and administrative functions across the Police Service of Northern Ireland.
Governance and rollout have been organized as a phased program, with change control around EHP upgrades and portal compatibility testing to preserve continuous access to transactional and reporting services. The current program emphasis is version consolidation to EHP8 for ECC and to NW7.5 for the portal, coordinated between PSNI finance stakeholders and Fujitsu.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP HCM (HR) | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2012 | 2013 |
In 2012, PSNI implemented SAP HCM (HR) as its Core HR system, establishing a centralized platform for employee and manager HR transactions. The deployment targets the HR function and line management for routine personnel processing and supports the Employee/Manager eServices portal as the primary self-service channel.
SAP HCM (HR) has been configured to support core HR transaction processing and the Employee/Manager eServices experience, with procedural documentation maintained by the HR Systems Team. The HR Systems User's Manual is under review following upgrades, and the team issues step by step guides that are used for one to one training tailored to user access and transactional needs.
Access and change workflows are tightly governed, requests for new or enhanced access must originate from the applicant using the standard HR System Access Application Form SAP1 available from zHRSystems, and line management forwards completed requests by email to zHRSystems or by logging a SAP Access request in the HR Knowledge Centre, category SAP Access. All requests for changes and enhancements to the HR System and the Employee/Manager eServices portal are sent by email to the HR Information & Systems Manager, who reviews submissions and prepares business requirements for approved changes.
Operational ownership rests with the HR Systems Team and the HR Information & Systems Manager, who maintain user guidance and coordinate requirements for system amendments. The implementation narrative highlights governance around access provisioning, structured change request intake, and role based administrative controls consistent with Core HR application management.

| Cisco Systems | Legacy | Cisco Webex Meetings | Audio Video and Web Conferencing | Collaboration | n/a | 2021 | 2021 |
In 2021, PSNI deployed Cisco Webex Meetings on its website. Cisco Webex Meetings, provided by Cisco Systems, functions as the organization’s Audio Video and Web Conferencing platform for web embedded meeting access and virtual engagement.
The implementation leverages core Audio Video and Web Conferencing capabilities including real time audio and video, screen sharing, meeting scheduling and orchestration, participant controls and cloud recording. Configuration described in the source emphasizes web embedding of meeting links and browser based access to reduce dependency on client installs.
Operational coverage includes web based public facing engagement via the PSNI website and internal collaboration across the organization’s employee base, with the PSNI Cisco Webex Meetings Audio Video and Web Conferencing deployment supporting both external-facing sessions and routine internal meetings. Access and authentication controls are applied to manage attendee flows and secure session entry for web initiated meetings.
Governance for this class of deployment typically incorporates moderator and attendee role definitions, meeting scheduling policies, content retention for recorded sessions and alignment with government communications and compliance practices. These governance elements frame how Cisco Webex Meetings is used by PSNI to structure virtual engagement and meeting workflows.
