In 2017, Port of Seattle deployed Advent eModal as a Collaboration Portal to operationalize requirements of the North West Ports Clean Air Strategy of 2008. The Port selected the eModal® DTR module to drive fast compliance and implementation of the mandated clean air measures.
Implementation centered on the Advent eModal DTR module, configured to capture trip and compliance data and to standardize electronic reporting workflows aligned with DTR functionality. The deployment was implemented into port operational workflows and touched terminal operations, environmental compliance teams, and gateway trucking stakeholders to unify data capture and reporting within the Collaboration Portal.
Governance and operational processes were restructured to make the eModal DTR module the authoritative source for compliance records, with standardized reporting procedures and stakeholder onboarding across affected business functions. Advent eModal provided the Collaboration Portal capabilities needed to centralize compliance documentation and day to day operational coordination, and the Port used the application to accelerate mandated compliance and implementation.
