Porter Labs Technographics
Discover the latest software purchases and digital transformation initiatives being undertaken by Porter Labs and its business and technology executives. Each quarter our research team identifies on-prem and cloud applications that are being used by the 180 Porter Labs employees from the public (Press Releases, Customer References, Testimonials, Case Studies and Success Stories) and proprietary sources.
During our research, we have identified that Porter Labs has purchased the following applications: NetActuate DDoS Mitigation for DDoS Protection in 2024 and the related IT decision-makers and key stakeholders.
Our database provides customer insight and contextual information on which enterprise applications and software systems Porter Labs is running and its propensity to invest more and deepen its relationship with NetActuate or identify new suppliers as part of their overall Digital and IT transformation projects to stay competitive, fend off threats from disruptive forces, or comply with internal mandates to improve overall enterprise efficiency.
We have been analyzing Porter Labs revenues, which have grown to $50.0 million in 2024, plus its IT budget and roadmap, cloud software purchases, aggregating massive amounts of data points that form the basis of our forecast assumptions for Porter Labs intention to invest in emerging technologies such as AI, Machine Learning, IoT, Blockchain, Autonomous Database or in cloud-based ERP, HCM, CRM, EPM, Procurement or Treasury applications.

In 2024, Porter Labs deployed NetActuate DDoS Mitigation. The NetActuate DDoS Mitigation implementation, classified under DDoS Protection, was provisioned on NetActuate’s Anycast enabled edge infrastructure to support Porter Labs’ AI driven pet training platform real time processing.
Implementation centered on edge compute and network layer mitigation capabilities, combining Anycast traffic routing with edge based processing for inference pipelines and colocated DDoS mitigation controls to preserve ultra low latency and predictable throughput. The deployment emphasized standard DDoS Protection functional terminology such as traffic steering, edge scrubbing points of presence, and network level rate controls alongside compute for real time model inference.
The solution was integrated into Porter Labs’ hybrid cloud operations across its US deployment, steering inference and user traffic to the nearest edge locations while backend services remained in cloud regions. Operational coverage included platform engineering, network operations, and product delivery teams responsible for the AI driven application, with the edge infrastructure used as the primary execution layer for latency sensitive workloads.
Rollout followed phased edge provisioning across US sites with operational runbooks for traffic steering and incident response, and changes to platform deployment workflows to favor edge first processing. The case study highlights latency, scalability, and cost efficient hybrid cloud operations as the primary outcomes, and notes that DDoS Protection was implemented via NetActuate DDoS Mitigation while the study does not provide explicit technical details on scrubbing procedures.
