SnapLogic Legacy SnapLogic Intelligent Integration Platform API Management, Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL), iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) PaaS n/a 2020 2020 In 2020 PowerPlan, Inc. implemented the SnapLogic Intelligent Integration Platform to centralize integration work across its service and product teams. The deployment targeted API Management,Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL),iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) needs and was positioned to support both internal business systems and client-facing integration flows. The implementation focused on integration pipelines and API management capabilities within the SnapLogic Intelligent Integration Platform, including development of application APIs to allow clients to import data from the UI and standardized cloud APIs for exchange with client ERP systems. The team built conversion integrations to move data between Oracle and SQL Server through SnapLogic, and implemented SQL Server temporal tables for auditability and performance monitoring as part of the data persistence strategy. Integrations explicitly implemented include in-house connectivity between Salesforce, Concur, and Intacct, and API and ETL links between PowerPlan proprietary software and customer ERP and ancillary systems. Operational coverage extended to hosted client environments on AWS and Azure, with the Data Services group owning pipeline creation and API lifecycle management for external implementations and internal system-to-system flows. Governance and operational ownership rested with a nine person team organized into Business Systems, Data Services, and Database Services verticals, the team managing requirements gathering through development, implementation, and ticketed support. Process governance used Kanban intake, participation in scrum of scrums, and a mix of onshore and offshore resources, with the Director of Enterprise Systems and Data Services providing consolidated oversight since March 2020.
