Configuration work focused on aligning Sage Intacct financial modules with PrismHR business functions, including structured chart of accounts, automated revenue recognition workflows appropriate for SaaS and professional services, and configurable reporting to support finance and executive stakeholders. The deployment emphasized extensible configuration and scripting to enable iterative enhancements, with the Director of Enterprise Applications owning roadmap, architecture, and hands-on system development and support processes.
Sage Intacct was integrated into PrismHR’s cross-enterprise application landscape, operating alongside Salesforce and related / integrated financial and analytics systems to bridge customer, billing and revenue data with general ledger and operational reporting. Operational scope covered Sales, Finance, Customer Support and Success, Marketing and Product Development, with the Director coordinating upgrades, incident response, day-to-day administration, and development of cross-system workflows.
Governance and process changes included institution of an agile, backlog-driven delivery model for enterprise application initiatives, enforcement of security compliance practices and participation in SOC 2 and financial audits, maintenance of licensing and vendor oversight, and development of documentation and a knowledge base to move to a self-service support model. The Director of Enterprise Applications retained accountability for roadmap prioritization, stakeholder validation demos, and aligning system investments to PrismHR’s operational and audit requirements.
